Core Values

Our mission at Clerkenwell Showrooms is to improve our businesses, the district and the community through collaboration.

Here are our Core Values that we came up with together...

Protocols

1. Together is Better

We are on a mission to do better by working together.

2. Make a Difference

We want to see real change in Clerkenwell in terms of more creative events, less anti-social behavior and better use of resources (including our showrooms).

3. Not a Contest, a Collaboration

We believe that change need not create conflict. We will work with commercial event organisers and local councils to drive change that helps everyone.

4. Rinse, Repeat, Review

Whatever initiatives we create, we will repeat, if they work, and improve by reviewing the results.

5. Be Kind

Whatever we do, we will be kind to all, especially, the young, poor and/or disadvantaged.

6. Be Fair

Any new initiative that makes money will fairly reward those who volunteer or participate.

7. Everyone is Welcome

We appreciate feedback from all. Our membership scheme was set up for showrooms, but now includes exhibitors and will soon add restaurants and hotels.

8. The Future is Bright

The world is getting smaller and more connected. To overcome the big challenges that we face our best hope is community and being the change we wish to see.
