Event ‘Pop-Ups’ Guide - 2025
5 Albemarle Way is a multi-brand showroom that makes the most of its entertaining spaces during all design events. It uses its ‘Clerkenwell Showrooms’ membership to fly CS Yellow Flags during events.
During Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) we invite complimentary brands to attend the event using temporary Pop-Up displays, sharing entertaining costs and generally enrich the visitor experience.
CDW Pop-Up Options:
3-Day Event in Shared Space: £300 (paid in advance) Tuesday 20 - Thursday 22 May
Single person to attend the CDW 3-day event only.
Ideal for single person - attendance with carry-in display to be used in pre-agreed shared area3-Day Event in Designated Space: £500 (paid in advance) Tuesday 20 - Thursday 22 May
Up to 2 persons to attend the CDW 3-day event only.
Ideal for personal attendance with minimum set-up or disruption in pre-agreed room.Whole Week in Designated Space: £750 (paid in advance) Monday 19 - Friday 23 May
Up to 2 persons to set-up before, attend, pack-away after the CDW 3-day event.
Ideal for brands that need time before and after the event to set up a display or props in pre-agreed room.
Kitchen
Occupiers of the building to clean cups/cutlery/plates as they use them - ie leave no dirty cups or dishes.
Catering is managed entirely by permanent tenants - sharing catering activities/costs will be by separate arrangement.
Cleaning
Professional Cleaning will be done at the end of each day to cause minimal disruption.
Waste and Waste Disposal - First Mile (Fridays)
The Rubbish and Recycling is disposed of by First Mile and the agreed collection days are Fridays 6:00 pm; the waste needs to be disposed of in First Mile branded bags for general waste recycling. If cardboard needs to be disposed of please use a First Mile Sticker on the bundle and put-out with the other waste. The waste needs to be left between 5:50 and 6:00 pm by the red phone booth at the end of Albemarle Way, facing the main road.
Important: All other waste must be responsibly removed from the building by the occupier at the end of each day.
Shared Spaces
The Reception transit area is shared and is used to access other parts of the building.
The Atrium area is shared and may be used as hot desk, waiting or serving area.
The Kitchen is a shared area and may be used but kept clean at all times.
The Courtyard is a shared area and may be used to stand or sit during events.
The Rear Terrace is a shared area and may be used to servie food or drinks during events. It must be left clean at all times.
Mail and Deliveries
When bigger deliveries are expected, the tenants should let the other Brands know and, should the delivery require more people for handling, then the company should ensure someone else is on-site to assist.
Storage Policy
Each company can store their belongings in their own showroom, while the rest of the building is for common use and should be kept tidy and clear of any clutter at all times, in order to ensure the presentation of the showroom is kept up.
Smoking/vaping Policy
Smoking/vaping is not permitted in the building or shared areas.
Anyone wishing to smoke/vape, may use the street - or during events, ashtrays placed on the rear terrace.
Questions or Disputes
Any questions or disputes that may arise will be addressed and settled by the owner.
