Opening and Closing

  1. Opening: All lights need to be turned on, the door to the kitchen needs to be opened with a doorstop.

  2. Closing: All lights need to be turned off, the doors shut, especially the fire safety ones (Rear Courtyard Room, Rear Garden Room and Kitchen) and the door locked, including deadlock.

Security, Cameras and Control Monitors

The main entrance door has a security latch, which can be used when alone in the building or when extra security is felt is needed.

The building has 4 CCTVs, two are outside the front of the building, monitoring the pavement and the front entrance, one is in reception and one at the back of the building. They are used as a deterrent to burglars and secondary back up to ADT alarm. The controller for the cameras is under the stairs on the ground floor. Included to the CCTV system is a recorder which operates on a 72 hr loop.

Kitchen

Each tenant is to wash their own cups/cutlery/plates by the end of each day.

Cleaning Services

The cleaning company used is …TBC
Cleaning will be done during the weekend to cause minimal disruption.

Waste and Waste Disposal - First Mile

The Rubbish and Recycling is disposed of by First Mile and the agreed collection days are Fridays 6:00 pm; the waste needs to be disposed of in First Mile branded bags for general waste recycling. If cardboard needs to be disposed of please use a First Mile Sticker on the bundle and put-out with the other waste.

The waste needs to be left between 5:50 and 6:00 pm by the red phone booth at the end of Albemarle Way, facing the main road.

Exterior Spaces

The outdoor area is maintained by a cleaner on a regular basis;
The patio and terrace is cleaned on a weekly basis
The front windows are cleaned by the cleaner on a weekly basis
The glass balustrades on the terrace and atrium windows are cleaned monthly.

Mail and Deliveries

When bigger deliveries are expected, the tenants should let the other Brands know and, should the delivery require more people for handling, then the company should ensure someone else is on site to assist.

Storage Policy Each company can store their belongings in their own showroom, while the rest of the building is for common use and should be kept tidy and clear of any clutter at all times, in order to ensure the presentation of the showroom is kept up.

Smoking/vaping Policy

Smoking/vaping is not permitted in the building or common areas.
Anyone wishing to smoke/vape, may use the street or during events the rear terrace.
Sand-filled ashtrays will be provided for use on rear terrace during client events.
